The main character of this Anime is Inuyasha, a hanyou (half human, half youkai) who fell in love with a priest named Kikyou 50 years ago, When Naraku realized that, Naraku set them against each other so Kikyou thinking Inuyasha betrayed her, pinned him to a tree for 50 years.
